Abstract

The Technical Teachers' Training Institute, Calcutta, the first of its kind in India, was established in 1965 by the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, presently the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Bureau of Technical Education, Govt. of India in the Eastern Region as one of the four Regional Institutes in the country.
