Abstract

HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE:Technical Teachers' Training Institute, Chandigarh is one of the four regional institutes established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India, in 1967. Large scale industrialisation during the two decades since independence created the need for competent engineers and technicians in a variety of areas of production, manufacturing, construction and services.
