Continuing Engineering Education in India-An overview

The present paper to -begin with attempts to establish the need for continuing engineering education as applied to technical and professional manpower development in view of changing needs of the society and the country at large. The various continuing engineering education programmes being conducted by different organisations in India have been discussed, highlighting their roles and responsibilities. The need for providing adequate opportunities for this form of education for working professionals in developing country like ours has been emphasised.Downloads
