Abstract

Information Network for Osmonia Varsity Colleges

Osmania University proposes to set up Information Dissemination Centre (IDC) with an investment of Rs.15 lakhs, which will cater to the information needs of various engineering and computer sciences disciplines. One objective of IDC will be to acquire recent authentic and scholarly international and national publications of repute, expensive course ware, instructional videotapes, dissertation and software library programmes and to disseminate technical information to the member colleges, through Electronic Mail (E-Mail) system.
