Abstract

This paper is based on views of 150 respondents and 10 experts on management of educational institutions. The performance appraisal and development system has emerged as human resources building and institution building system for educational institutions. The purposes, outcomes, criteria f or interpreting the outcomes, impact of performance appraisal system and inputs to be given to new cycle are explained in this paper.
