Abstract
There is a continuous shortage of dedicated teachers. Those in senior position are picked up from lecturers. It is therefore, necessary to screen amongst lecturers those who are dedicated to teaching and will be in a position to develop technical education.In this connection, a self assessment career plan and self & student evaluation is proposed to be implemented, for further follow up in as many colleges as possible. Paper outlines proposed methods of obtaining desired results.
