Abstract

Born on 8th October, 1949, Dr. S. D. Awale obtained his B.E. (Civil) degree in 1972 and M.E. (Structures) degree from the Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, Maharashtra in 1975. After having taught at the Walchand College of Engineering, between 1975 to 1977, he was selected by the Ministry of Education and culture through the Union Public Service Commission and he joined as Education Officer (Tech.) in March 1977. From this position, he steadily rose to the position of Joint Educational Adviser (Tech. in 1992 and has been holding that position since then.
