Since science and technology influence the first generation engineering students tremendously, it is the need of the hour to identify teaching and learning style so that engineering education can be revamped. Engineering education can be treated as a system which consists of inputs, process and product. All these components must be reoriented arid revitalised so that objectives in engineering education can be realised meaningfully. It is also advocated that suitable teaching modes like science inquiry model and advance organizers model may be adapted to revamp engineering education.Downloads
