The present trends in factory management are aimed at developing a unified plant-control system for directing the activities of interconnected manufacturing cells of robots and N C machines. This is expected to pave the way for totally automated factories. Total automation does not mean a factory without people, but rather one automated to the fullest practical extent.Downloads
